Maple Corner Community Store Come visit your friendly, community store in the heart of Calais, Vermont - Where The Pavement Ends There is always something fun in the works in Maple Corner.

We are at the center of the AWESOME community of Maple Corner, and home to the much beloved Whammy Bar! Our yearly Mardi Gras and Winter Carnival in Feb, Skating and pond hockey in the winter, Independence Day parade and party at the Blue Barn, Harvest Festival in Oct, Barnstock with live music all day long in late August, Disco Dance in May, and our fantastic theater are a few of the happenings.

Rumor has it the Maple Corner power outage could last a bit. It’s an as of yet undiagnosed issue between the Kent Hill substation and the one near East Montpelier elementary school.

Stay safe everyone. Our generator is humming along nicely and we’re fully operational. Feel free to stop in for food, device charging, wifi, etc.
