New products at Pea Farm Market, including these Fresh Corn Tortillas from Gaby's Bakery and Panaderia!

1lb packs are $5 each, and they are beautiful and delicious!

We have recently been selling the Elderberry Syrup in the Market, but honestly it feels like that's a better fit for our neighbors at Nutrition World, since they already stock a couple versions of this product, so check with them if you need some.

If you guys haven't heard, the lovely and talented Kat Robinson will be at Sage Tea & Treats this Saturday, so if you don't have any plans yet, pop by this weekend and visit her for a book signing from 10am-2pm.

To commemorate this wonderous event, we will have our World Famous Pea Farm Peanut Butter Pie!

It's so Famous, its even in a book!

Oh my gosh, you could buy the book and get your Pie autographed as well!

Anyway, Wednesday's Special is this beautiful Caprese Salad or the Caprese Chicken Sandwich.

The Salad: Has fresh Mozzarella, marinated tomatoes, locally grown basil, and Pepperoncinis on our Locally grown Lettuce blend, with grilled chicken and a drizzle of Olive oil and Balsamic reduction.

We have to share the cutest thing we've ever seen in the world with you guys...

Ready???

This lovely work was produced by Taylor Jones of Taylor Jones Illustrations, who came to our attention after noticing her work with Jak's Second Chance Rescue Ranch for a very successful fundraiser, which resulted in some very adorable and crazy doggy portraits.

When we saw her whimsical witches, we knew we wanted them!

After reaching out and having a short conversation about the details, we only had to wait a couple days for the turnaround time.

Taylor was even kind enough to work up a custom piece for us, the adorable Pea Farm Market witch, which will forever hang in Pea Farm Market.

You should REALLY go check out more of her stuff, including some beautiful watercolor homes, and pet portraits.

As an artist and designer my whole life, and having gone to school for art, I have great respect for anyone willing to put themselves out there like this.

It takes courage to showcase one's talents, in the hopes people will accept and, even better, patronize their work.

Modern technology has made this even MORE difficult for local artists to thrive, so if you like what you see, shoot Taylor a message and pick up some of her work today.

We recently stopped in to our favorite gift shop, Sage Tea & Treats, and found a whole BUNCH of new items available, from Japanese Skittles, to this delicious S'more flavored coffee, and even Mahjong themed chocolates!

If you have an interest in playing Mahjong, you can also buy sets here, and if you don't know how to play, there are classes you can sign up for to learn.

In fact, we have another event with All About Mahjong coming up on September 12th!

I wasn't prepared for the great Peter Cullen, voice of Eeyore, Optimus Prime, and countless others, to pass as well.

Real quick, check out these new items at Pea Farm Market!

Elderberry Elixir, from Atlanta, and Natural Way Peanut butter and Almond butter.

The Peanut butter comes in unsweetened, and a honey sweetened version, and the Almond butter is sweetened with honey as well.

These nut butters are also made with Olive oil, instead of the usual highly processed vegetable oils.

Finally we have a natural (and locally produced) base for our Peanut sauce at home!

If you didn't see the post about Natural State Beverage Company, check it out from a couple days ago, or just come and try them for yourself.

I think tomorrow's Special is gonna be that cucumber taco thing you guys love so much.

Hopefully I can make us some cakes too, cause you guys bought all the pies!

It's Smoked turkey, bacon, provolone, and parmesan, fresh basil pesto, and tomato. We grill it until it's toasty, melty and delicious. Served with a side of our homemade ranch and chips.

Our entire household (actually, everybody at Pea Farm today) was saddened to hear about the passing of perhaps the best singer-songwriter in history.

Dolly was not just another celebrity, she was a humanitarian, and a true inspiration for countless people.

We were in quite a difficult financial situation when our daughter was born, and thanks to Dolly Parton's Imagination library we were able to receive tons of books for Maddie until she was 5 years old.

This was a great spark of joy and hope for us at a time when our lives seemed very short on blessings.

I do want to mention Wednesday's special, the Jive Turkey real quick.

It's Smoked turkey, bacon, provolone, and parmesan, basil pesto, and tomato. We grill it until it's toasty, melty and delicious. Served with a side of our homemade ranch and chips.

Now, I'm gonna go donate some money to the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library and watch 9 to 5.
