I know you are usually looking here for dessert p**n, but today I have a request. My dear nephew, Benjamin, is getting married and they are collecting tea cups as favors. If you happen to have any hanging out that need a new home, feel free to bring them into the cafe or to the farmers market.
Okay- on to dinner- Delicious Chicken Pot Pie, Pumpkin Cheesecake or Ten layer Coffee Cinnamon Cake. 5-6:15

Help a bakery out!! On very, very rare occasions we have an off market day- when no one shows up….

Tom came back from yesterday’s market with a bunch of delicious sourdough loaves, so Sunday only - 50% off County White, Multigrain or Sprouted Seeded Rye and Pumpkins Seed breads. After today, we will be closed through next week, so freeze an extra loaf and pick up breakfast or lunch while you are here. It’s worth the drive….

Not everything is as polished as it seems…. That jam cake last week- it sure tasted good, but I’m glad you didn’t get to see the whole cake! Today the banana bread that was made, just wasn’t perfect, so it’s being repurposed for dessert tonight as Banana Bread Pudding trifle. Part of the surviving on the restaurant industry is being creative during challenging times. As you eat with your eyes, we’ll make sure there is plenty of glitter to make you smile!!

Tonight’s dinner- 5-6:15. Tom’s Butler Gumbo or Goat Stew. Featuring our newest employee’s (Wes) Creamy Lemon Pie. Remember, the cafe will be closed next Thursday through Sunday, so get dinner tonight and stock up on soup.

Do you know how owns the new McAlister’s? No. But, I bet you know the chef owners of The Kentucky Millstone! We went to high school together here in Pendleton County. We’re about as local as you can get…

Serving dinner tonight- 5:00-6:15. Buffalo Chicken Casserole, Strawberry Chocolate Cake or Banana Pudding. We’ve also got some delicious Gochugaru Kimchi Sourdough bread that’s headed to the Covington Farmer’s Market if you don’t get it here today!
