Join Mr Mister for a special evening celebrating 20 years of Joseph Jewell Wines with owner and winemaker Adrian Manspeaker on October 22.

The story began in 2006 with a few barrels of Pinot Noir made in a Sonoma County garage for friends and family. Twenty vintages later, Joseph Jewell has grown into a small, family-run winery known for vineyard-driven Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Russian River Valley, Sonoma Coast and the remote coastal vineyards of Adrian’s native Humboldt County. Through it all, the philosophy has remained remarkably simple: work with great vineyards, make wines that reflect where they come from, and create wines meant to be enjoyed around the table with good food and good people.

For this dinner, Adrian will share wines spanning the Joseph Jewell portfolio along with a selection from Jewell Reserve, his extremely limited-production collection of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Produced in quantities as small as three to five barrels, the Reserve wines represent some of Adrian’s favorite vineyards, barrels and expressions from nearly two decades of winemaking. Paired with a multi-course dinner from Mr Mister, the evening will be an opportunity to taste the evolution of Joseph Jewell—from its humble garage beginnings to the wines being made today—and hear the stories behind the vineyards, vintages and people that have shaped the winery over the past 20 years.
