Garage Sale Donations Welcome Today and Tomorrow

Hello, All,

Happy Oct. 1 and a fine rainy day we thought we'd never see! The club is holding a garage sale Saturday at 7:30 at the Fire Station, and we need your donations to help our sale succeed.

Our volunteers will be setting up at the fire station tomorrow (Friday), starting at 9:30 a.m. Please feel free to drop off your treasures for our sale!

If you need service today, call me as shown below and we'll meet you at the station.

Also in the month of October, our club will be going door to door at Falconhead on the annual food drive to collect canned or packaged foods for the Food Pantry operated by Mercy Health Love County Hospital in Marietta.

On October 10, we'll hold our monthly brunch at 11 a.m. at the Country Club, featuring a dynamic speaker and resident, Russ Crites, a "Life Coach" with tips for better living.

And please note the change of date -- to October 30 -- Friday -- the day before Halloween when our club will join FPOA in putting on the trunk or treat party and games for kids in the Country Club parking lot at 5 p.m. Trick or treat at Falconhead will be on the traditional October 31.

As always, please let me know your questions or concerns.
