🌯 A little history, a lot of flavor!

While the exact origin of the burrito is debated one beloved story says the burrito was born in Ciudad Juárez during the Mexican Revolution. A street vendor named Juan Méndez wrapped hearty fillings in large flour tortillas to keep them warm and easy to carry—and, legend has it, transported them by burro. Soon, his customers were calling them “burritos,” or little donkeys!

Over 100 years later, we’re still wrapping up something delicious. Come enjoy a Steak Burrito at Los Compadres!
