Last weekend we had a great staff meeting with the theme “Raising the Bar” 👏🏼

We celebrated team members who deserved recognition, participated in hands-on wine service training, and took an honest look at areas where we can continue to improve.

What makes Tousey House unique isn’t a corporate handbook or a chain restaurant formula, it’s the character of this historic building, the personalities of the people who work here, and the relationships we’ve built with our guests over the years.

This July, we’ll celebrate 18 years in business, and we’re incredibly grateful for the guests, staff, and community who have supported us along the way. We hope to be serving Boone County for many years to come.

…and as an added bonus, we got to enjoy snacks that nobody on our team had to spend time preparing! Thank you to Peace. Love. Charcuterie. NKY for the beautiful spread. 🧀🍷

Even a house that’s been standing for over 200 years needs a little maintenance now and then.

Today is new roof day! We hope to continue to preserve a piece of Boone County history—just don’t ask us to climb up there and help. We’ll be supervising from the ground. 😆
