Nominations and votes for “Best of the Best Alamance” can be submitted to The Times-News starting on Tuesday, Sept. 1. From that day until Sept. 30, you will be able to go to https://www.thetimesnews.com, find the “Best of the Best” icon (on a desktop computer screen, scroll down and look to the right column; on a cellphone, scroll all the way to the bottom). The first time you do it, the system will ask you to register your email address, but after that each day you can just go straight to voting. If you do not see your favorite in a category listed, write it in. This will count as both a nomination and a vote. You can vote once daily in any or all categories through 5 p.m. Sept. 30. Winners will be announced in a special section in November.
