☕🍂 FALL FUEL UP — WEEK 4: COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER EDITION!
This week, we’re giving some love to the people who give their time, mental energy, physical effort, and good attitudes to our community — without getting paid a dime.
People have full-time jobs. Kids. Families. Businesses. Farms. Appointments. Obligations. Life. And yet, they still find ways to volunteer, serve on boards, organize events, work behind the scenes, clean up after things, set things up before they start, and generally do all the stuff that makes a community work.
Because most people don't actually have extra time. They make time.
We’re coming off a great weekend of the Marrowbone Fall Festival and the Steel Horse Stampede, and while my family had every intention of being involved and supporting both, a stomach bug had other plans and basically kept us quarantined in the house all weekend. 😂🤦🏻♀️
But that's exactly what we’re talking about. There are SO many people who spend countless hours throughout the year making these events — and all the other events and organizations around here — happen. Some are out front where everybody sees them. A whole lot more are behind the scenes where hardly anybody does.
Those are the people we want to recognize this week.
So tell us about the volunteers in our community who keep showing up, pitching in, and making Cumberland County a better place to live. Tag them. Give them a shout-out. Let them know their work is both noticed and appreciated.
Acre & Main Realty’s “Fall Fuel Up: Week Four” is brought to you by co-owner & principal broker Liza Turner Tucker. ☕🍁
At the end of the week, 8 names will be randomly drawn to receive a free coffee of their choice from The Busy Bees Cafe.
👇 COMMENT BELOW and tell us about a community volunteer who deserves a little recognition.
❤️And to every person who serves this town, in big ways and small ones — thank you. We see you, and we appreciate you.
