The Feed Lot Restaurant has been around filling people up since July of 1994. It Began in a 1000 square foot building in a township of only 700 in population. Since the beginning, the Feed Lot has grown to the needs of its loyal and satisfied customers. The Feed Lot grew over the years and finally made a new home in Burkburnett, TX. The operation consists of a staff of 25 and a 4000 square foot bu

ilding. The Feed Lot has built its reputation on serving quality home cooked meals just like you got at Grandma’s house. The service provided by our staff is second to none. We take a personal approach to our customers’ needs and offer a genuine friendship. The facility seats approximately 200 people with both indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant’s Barn can hold private gatherings to seat up to 60 people. Singles as well as large families can also be comfortably accommodated at The Feed Lot. From the minute you enter the parking lot you begin to experience the rustic, country atmosphere The Feed Lot offers. The interior is even more impressive with a state-of-the-art kitchen that anyone would be proud to cook in. The hand-breaded chicken fried steak and catfish as well as their mouth watering steaks are the best in the North Texas/Southern Oklahoma area. As many of you know, our beloved Feed Lot Restaurant employee, BJ, was affected by a major house fire while she was on shift last week. Unfortunately, she lost everything.

BJ is part of our The Feed Lot Restaurant , and now it’s our turn to show up for her. ❤️

We have had so many wonderful people in the community ask how they can help, so we are working to fill up a storage unit with donations for BJ as she begins rebuilding after this devastating loss. Feel free to share this post.

We are !

Our Feed Lot family is heartbroken to share that one of our longtime employees, BJ, recently suffered a devastating while she was at work.

BJ is more than just an employee to us — she is family. She is hardworking, kind, caring, full of personality, and truly one of those people who makes everyone around her feel welcome. She has been such a blessing to our team, and we are so thankful for everything she does and the light she brings wherever she goes.

Unfortunately, BJ’s home was destroyed in the fire, and she is now facing a very difficult road ahead. We are asking our community to please keep her in your prayers and, if you feel led to , any support would mean so much.

Y’all… send help. 😂

The Go2Girl and her friend Trish have officially taken over The Feed Lot Restaurant Facebook today, and let’s just say… they are running absolutely amok. Full control. No supervision. Just laughs, lunch, and a whole lot of Feed Lot fun. 🤠

But we have to admit, we loved having them here! They had the best lunch, got to catch up, and reminded us that good food is even better when you’re sharing it with a good friend.

The Go2Girl is always popping in over here because she truly loves The Feed Lot, and we love seeing her come through the door ready to eat, laugh, and cause a little harmless chaos.

These wonderful folks stopped in to enjoy The Feed Lot before heading off to a wedding, and honestly… don’t they look fantastic today? 👏✨

It means so much to us when people choose to make us part of their day, even if it’s just a quick stop before a big celebration. As a locally owned, family-owned and operated business, every single person who walks through our door matters to us.
