Sona started working at the cafe when she was just 15. Her dad asked me if we would interview her and I was really reluctant because it’s not easy for a 15 year old working front of house at Acai Jungle. After kindly saying no a few times, I finally caved in and we haven’t looked back since. That was 4 years ago and she has been such a special, reliable and hard working part of this family! Right from the beginning she treated the cafe like it was her own and I had to make her a shift lead when she was still 16! That’s no joke. It has been such a pleasure watching her grow and mature over the years and can’t wait to see what the future holds for her. We will miss her very much 💕
