We welcomed Brandon Adkison, who stopped by to share about his new business in Bullard, On Point Physical Therapy. Brandon introduced the services he offers, his approach to patient care, and his commitment to helping individuals recover, strengthen, and improve their mobility. It was great to hear about a new local business focused on wellness and personalized therapy, and we appreciate him taking the time to connect with our club.

We had a great meeting, hearing from Mark Pelech, who shared an informative and heartfelt presentation on the effects of Alzheimer’s disease and the early signs everyone should be aware of. He emphasized how Alzheimer’s impacts memory, behavior, and daily functioning, and he walked us through the subtle changes that often appear long before a formal diagnosis. Mark also highlighted the importance of early detection, caregiver support, and the resources available through the Alzheimer’s Association for families navigating this difficult journey.

It was our honor to hear from our Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) students, Virgil and Jacy, over breakfast this morning. They shared their experiences from camp with such enthusiasm and maturity that it reminded all of us why RYLA matters. Their stories of leadership, teamwork, and personal growth were inspiring, and we’re proud to support young people who are already stepping up to make a difference in their schools and community.

Today would be a good day to sign up for our Annual Sporting Clays shoot at 5H Shooting Sports. The money raised will allow us to fund the construction of pickleball courts at the Bullard Kids Park.
