Thanks for supporting my start up! I’m looking for a couple more (small/medium) events to schedule for late July, August & September if you’re looking for some caffeinated drinks & baked goodies at your event let me know - we can do a custom menu (horror or fantasy themed) Erie & Niagara Counties only (I don’t want to pay for more permits lol)

Food is and always has been my love language and I’m so excited to share this with everyone. The Divided Cup is a mobile cafe & bakery (for now) that has a divided personality: Horror/Fantasy, Dark/Light, Morbid/Enchanted.

This weekend, May 30 & 31 at the Buffalo Horror Garage Sale, approximately 4000 people saw my table, saw people walking around with cold brew, matcha, my huge cookies, or cinnamon rolls. I sold out of baked goods within 3.5 hours of the event start (thankfully I had some back up cookies ready for the next day). I physically could not have prepared more for this event, and mentally I couldn’t have prepared for how successful it would have been.

I made a last second decision to get rid of menu items and options and make everything on my table $5. I know it was undercharged, but to have this type of eyes on my brand new business and success on a grand opening I didn’t care. I was just happy to connect with like minded horror loving individuals and share my recipes. I hope they find me in the future to collaborate.

There’s a lot of people and businesses to thank for this successful opening, but here’s some of the big ones: Kitchen. They are a commercial shared kitchen that is ECDOH certified and have been so easy to work with. This was my first WEEK there, I did no testing beforehand of the kitchen, but I’ve spent 10+ years in various kitchens so I felt confident it would be fine (not everything went perfect, but when does it?) Another is Will, who organizes the This wouldn’t have happened if he didn’t answer his email and say yes. Another is the cast of for being my first repeat customers I love you all. Oh and my sister .b.hur

Some of my favorite moments was when I had a slight break after serving someone and watched them walk away and take a sip of their drink, or take a bite of their baked good and see their genuine reactions.. Those reactions weren’t for me, I wasn’t supposed to see them. Those were the ‘holy s**t this is good’ when they probably didn’t have any expectations since no one has EVER tasted any of my products before.

I’ll have about 50 cookies for day two of and PLENTY of matcha and cold brew. Thank you all for giving me a chance and tasting my recipes that no one besides my family & friends have tasted. I really didn’t think this is how this would go. Also, I spelled caffeine wrong and no one said anything lmao.

Hey so…. You sold me out of cookies & ‘sin’amon rolls at a pace I couldn’t have imagined… I’ll have a limited amount of cookies tomorrow. Plenty of drinks though! Thank youuuu.

If you missed them, and really want them, shoot me a dm for pre-orders next week for pick up in north Tonawanda and in a way less crazy environment- I’ll even have cold foam then.

Also.. keep me in mind for your events 😏

EDIT: Thank you for SELLING ME OUT of 'Sin'amon Rolls and Cookies today. I'll be back tomorrow with a LIMITED amount of cookies (no 'sin'amon rolls), but LOTS of drinks to go around.

I made some last minute changes to the menu items and made everything $5.. it was just easier. See you on Sunday and THANK YOU.
