I am so excited to announce that the Fairy Springs demo is now available to play on Steam! This is my very first game ever, so it means so much to me that you are here for the release of the demo.

The idea for Fairy Springs came to me last summer, inspired by a trip my wife and I took to Scotland the year before. Since then I have been toiling away on the game and it's been a ton of work just to get to the point of having a demo! (Especially since I have a full time job in addition to game dev) I've worked hard and am proud of what I have accomplished so far. The background art took a really long time!

I really hope you enjoy this little glimpse into the world of Fairy Springs and meeting its cast of characters and enjoying the springtime environment. The demo includes three early in-game days and a couple of collectables to give you a taste of the gameplay. When the full game is released I hope to have approximately 40 days of gameplay, 10 for each season.

You are a magical Fairy tasked with your first assignment: aid the critters of the glen through the seasons of a year. Take your time getting to know the valley's inhabitants in this cozy little adventure. Every day has a new task to complete with each animal neighbor having something fresh to say.

I am SO close to finishing the scenery for the spring scene! The summer, fall and winter scenes will go by a lot faster than this has because most of the base art will already be done.

Still a few things I need to do here such as: detailing out the far background, finishing the cliffside ruins, adding clouds, changing out the mushrooms for seasonal appropriate ones and animating the other two waterfalls.

All of this art I am doing by hand! If a little story about a fairy in a handcrafted world sounds like your kind of game please wishlist Fairy Springs on Steam! 🙏

I know some people are going to have trouble understanding Montie and that's why I added translations! 😅

Montie is a Scottish Wildcat in my game that speaks in the Scots language. You will be able to hover over any words unfamiliar to you and get a translation.
