Their courage, sacrifice, and selflessness will never be forgotten. Today is more than a long weekend or the start of summer — it is a day to honor the heroes who stood for something greater than themselves. Thank you for your service!

There’s something special about hearing music drift through the halls of McKinley Edwards Inn. 🎹
This morning, we were lucky enough to hear this talented young lady play our piano during breakfast, and it absolutely made the atmosphere feel even more warm, peaceful, and welcoming. Moments like these remind us why we love hospitality so much — it’s the little unexpected experiences that guests remember forever.
Music and mountain mornings just seem to go together here in Bryson City, especially at McKinley Edwards Inn. ❤️
We also wanted to put this out into the community: if anyone local would ever enjoy volunteering to play piano during our breakfast hours (8:00–9:30 AM), we would absolutely welcome it. Whether you’re a seasoned pianist, a student wanting to share your talent, or someone who simply loves to play, we’d love to hear from you.
