🔥🧊 The True History of Fire & Ice Snow

Where It All Began — 1995

Fire & Ice started its journey in Bryan as Ice is Nice, a small neighborhood snow cone stand built on simple joys: summer afternoons, bright flavors, and friendly faces.

A New Name, A New Era — 2009

In 2009, Gloria and Payton Baldridge purchased the stand and transformed it into Fire & Ice Snow Cones.
They introduced new flavors, refreshed operations, and gave the business the name customers still love today.

Growth & Expansion — 2015

In 2015, ownership passed to Jacob and Grace Davis, who brought fresh energy and big ideas.
Under their leadership, Fire & Ice:

• Expanded into mobile trailer events
• Grew its customer base
• Moved from Villa Maria to Hwy 21 East, a move that proved to be a turning point in its success

A Family Legacy Continues — 2021

Spring 2021 marked a new chapter when Greg and Judi Patranella‑Haas purchased Fire & Ice from their nephew Jacob.
With Greg retiring from CSISD and Judi retiring from TAMU, the business became the perfect next adventure — a way to serve the community, build memories, and carry forward a beloved Bryan tradition.

Today

Fire & Ice remains a family‑run, community‑centered business built on:
