Shade Tree Cafe

WE ARE OFFICIALLY OPEN!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who came out to celebrate the grand opening of Shade Tree Cafe! Your support, encouragement, and love mean more to us than you know.

We are so excited to open our doors to the community, continue learning and growing, serve delicious food, and bring people together around something bigger than a meal. Every day, we have the opportunity to feed those around us while serving the mission of Dreams: helping exceptional people find purpose.

The devil tried to knock us down, but we persevered! Today was a reminder that even when things don’t go as planned, the mission is bigger than the obstacles.

This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to see what’s ahead. Thank you for believing in us, standing beside us, and being part of this journey. More pictures to come once we rest and recover

Come hungry, leave inspired, and grow with us at Shade Tree Cafe!

Meet Logan Watkins — Where Our Story Began!

We’ve loved introducing you to our Shade Tree Café team, and now we want to share the story of the person who inspired it all!

Logan Watkins is a 28-year-old, blue-eyed socialite who loves theatre, cooking, shopping, and, of course, the ladies! With his outgoing personality and gift for conversation, Logan makes friends wherever he goes.

Logan is the inspiration behind the Dreams Foundation of Acadiana, helping create a community where individuals of all abilities can build friendships, discover passions, and find purpose.

Today, Logan puts his talents to work at Shade Tree Café as a runner. He loves shopping at Costco, Sam’s Club, and other stores for café supplies. He also delivers frozen pies to local grocery stores and enjoys visiting with people along the way.

Logan’s story is where the Dreams journey began, but it certainly didn’t end there. It continues every day through the lives we touch, the friendships we build, and the opportunities we create together.

We hope you come to the Shade Tree Grand Opening tomorrow 10-12 and you can meet Logan and all our other wonderful employees in person !!
