Join us Saturday, October 24 starting at 5 PM for a spooky night in the Garden!

🎃 Pumpkin Carving Contest | 5–7 PM
$10 cash per pumpkin — we provide the pumpkin and carving tools! Guests will vote for their favorites with prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd.

👻 Costume Contest | 6–7 PM
Come dressed to impress… or terrify. Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd!

☕ Spiked Hot Chocolate Bar | 5 PM–Close
Hot chocolate, all the toppings and plenty of adult options to warm things up.

🎬 Movie in the Garden
After the contests wrap up, grab a drink, bring your blankets and get cozy for a PG-13 Halloween movie on the big screen!

🚲 SUNDAY SOCIAL BIKE RIDE!

Get outside. Get moving. Meet some new people.

Every Sunday, a local group meets at The Old Man in Broomfield for a casual community bike ride over to Westminster!

This is not a race and you definitely don’t need to be an experienced cyclist. Bring whatever bike you’ve got and come hang out. The whole idea is to get people out of the house, moving, socializing, and enjoying a Sunday evening together.

📍 Meet-up: The Old Man, 4381 W. 120th Ave.
⏰ Meet at 6 PM | Roll out around 7 PM
🚲 About 3 miles & mostly flat
🌲 Paved multi-use paths
🙌 All experience levels welcome
🔞 18+

The ride finishes near Benders Bar in Westminster, but stopping in afterward is completely optional!

The Old Man is simply the meet-up location. This is an independently organized community ride.

WHAT. A. DAY.

The 34th Annual Rick-O-SalsOff and our 3rd year hosting it at The Old Man was an absolute blast!

We had 24 salsa entries this year and more than 100 people show up to taste, vote, hang out and support our contestants. And you guys did it in the HEAT. 😂🌶️

Seriously, thank you to every single person who entered a salsa, came out to taste, voted, helped us put this thing together, and stuck around to celebrate with us. We know we had a couple little kinks to work through along the way, and we really appreciate everyone’s patience and good spirits. Every year we learn a little more, and next year will be even better!

We genuinely LOVE putting on this event. What started 34 years ago has turned into something we’re so proud to keep going, and seeing this many people come out for a goofy little salsa competition makes it pretty damn special.
