🍋Lemon with Lemon Curd🍋

This lovely lemon cake was topped with luscious lemon curd. My philosophy? If you're going to make a lemon cake, go all the way! 🍋 The tangy lemon curd adds an extra burst of citrusy goodness that really brings out the bright, tart lemon flavor. For lemon lovers, more lemon is always a good thing! 🍰💛

In addition to the cute flower decorations, this cake had a hidden secret inside! It was a gender reveal cake so it was either blue or red on the inside. (I won't tell!)

🥂Classy Wedding Cake🍾

Often a cake's flavor and decorations conflict. In this case, the couple wanted a Chantilly cake (excellent choice!) but Chantilly cream isn't strong enough to support decorations on the sides. Buttercream frosting is strong enough, so this is a Chantilly cake with buttercream frosting on the outside.

Super thin lines like the ones shown here are also really hard to make because you can't press them into the cake to make them stick. To handle the stickiness problem, Maki drew the thin lines with royal icing which is extra sticky.

A long process but well worth the effort!

🌸 We generally don't freeze our cakes, but many of them do just fine in the freezer. (As long as you thaw them before eating.) Here are the November sale rules.

🥧Mini Pie Sale!🥧

Don't forget to reserve your mini-pie selection. This weekend we're offering a delicious assortment of four mini pies for just $25! Each pie is individually sized, so you can enjoy four different flavors without having to choose just one. 😋

Your assortment will include:

🎃 Kabocha Pumpkin Pie — A delicious twist on traditional pumpkin pie, made with tasty Japanese kabocha pumpkin.

🍎 Apple Pie — A timeless favorite with sweet, flavorful apples wrapped in a flaky pastry crust.

🥧 Pecan Pie — A rich, sweet filling loaded with pecans for that classic nutty crunch.

🍌 Banana Cream Pie — Creamy banana goodness in a crisp cookie crust. (Technically, that makes it a tart not a pie, but we're not going to argue with dessert!)

All our mini pies feature Maki's wonderfully flaky pastry crust (except for the banana cream tart) so this is a great chance to try her pie crust without buying a whole pie.

Supplies will be limited! We may have a few sets available for walk-ins, but we highly recommend reserving yours in advance to avoid disappointment.
