Cleaning was on the agenda, but then Brantley my 13-year-old, who has been battling AML, a bone marrow leukemia, since August 2025 and has had a bone marrow transplant in January, requested a hamburger/smash burger. And, of course, I couldn't say no. I mean, the kid has been through a lot; a burger is the least I can do. Plus, it's not every day you get to see a kid actually want to eat like he has been after everything he's been through.
