New hours, same great food 🌅

Starting this Wednesday: Wed–Sun, 12PM–10PM

Come through — we’re just getting started 🧡

📍 Prospect Lefferts Gardens

09/05/2026

This is a new chapter for Kulushkat 📖✨

We’ve completed our transition to new management — and our mission is simple: elevate the quality and the experience, without losing what you already love about the menu.

Still fresh, still natural — our menu is 100% gluten free 🌿 (yes, even the fries!), with the only exception being our traditional pastries: pita, baklava, burekas, and rugelach.

We believe in an inclusive space for the whole Prospect Lefferts Gardens community — the neighborhood’s healthiest, least processed gluten-free menu, at prices that make sense for everyone.

📅 This Saturday, we’re open 3PM–10PM — come by and see the new chapter for yourself.

And this is just the beginning. More improvements are on the way in the coming months to elevate your experience with us even more 👀

Hi neighbors! It is with a heavy heart that we announce that this will be Kulushkät’s last week in Park Slope (446c Dean Street).

The hours for the last week will be :
Tuesday - Friday 4pm-10pm
Saturday and Sunday 6pm-10pm

Please be patient with our staff on our last week here as rumors of our imminent closing have already generated a spike in business. We encourage you to order online via our website in advance.

We’re so grateful for the 10+ years of support we’ve received from all of y’all.

We opened in 2011 right by an empty ditch formerly known as the Atlantic Yards (now Barclay Center). I remember legendary Fulani was right across from us tailoring my good friends’ suits for their music/wedding gigs. Our neighbors were all hair salons and the shell of where Taro Sushi’s first location used to be. And across Henry was still running Triangle Sports.

We used to finish our shifts and go check out the MOTH story slams at South Paw (now NYC kids or something) and hit up Black Sheep and Cyprus Avenue on the corner of Bergen and 5th.

So much has changed in the last decade. I’m in my mid 30s now. I was just a young 24 year old busting my ass alongside my mom back then.

We love this neighborhood and it will forever be a part of hearts.

We’re super excited for the store that’s replacing us though we’ll let them introduce themselves on their own terms.

Lastly, if you ever miss us just remember we’re right across the park in Flatbush (1137 Washington Avenue).

We hope to see you all very soon!
