🍩 Tłusty Czwartek is here! 🍩

Also known as Fat Thursday, this delicious Polish tradition dates back to the Middle Ages and marks the last Thursday before Lent. It’s a day dedicated to indulging in sweet treats before the 40 days of fasting begin and the star of the celebration is the beloved pączek (a Polish doughnut)! 🇵🇱

Traditionally filled with rose jam or other sweet fillings and topped with powdered sugar or glaze, pączki are meant to bring good luck and prosperity for the year ahead.

To celebrate, we’ll be selling fresh, fluffy pączki because on Tłusty Czwartek, calories don’t count 😉

Introducing a new take on our Buffalo Chicken Pierogi, inspired by the iconic Buffalo slice from our friends and neighbors at Diamond Slice 💎🍕

This limited-edition collab is a tribute to Little Poland celebrating Greenpoint as Peter, from Diamond Slice is also Polish (by blood), and a fellow Greenpointer (by heart). 🇵🇱

Available at Pierozek for dine in, take out and catering starting this Friday, just in time for Super Bowl Sunday through the end of February. 🥟🔥🏈
