This week I traveled to Albany where I was recognized as Small Business Leader of the Year by the . Being celebrated at the State Capitol and receiving a Certificate of Recognition from Governor was truly an unforgettable moment.

Kente Cones started with a vision to bring people together through flavor, culture, and storytelling — highlighting ingredients and traditions from Africa and the diaspora. To see this work recognized at the state level is incredibly meaningful 🥹🫶🏽🍦
