Maestro mezcalero Alexis Canales Angeles of Mezcal Pasión Ancestral joins us in New York for the first time, bringing mezcal made in the ancestral tradition of Santa Catarina Minas, Oaxaca.

Agave worked by hand, distilled in clay pots, and a tradition his family has carried since the 1890s.

$30 · A flight of three mezcals, served with a taco made with our heirloom-corn masa.

Join us for an evening of mezcal, masa, and conversation with the maestro himself.

This recognition belongs entirely to our team – from the early morning nixtamal runs at the factory to the late nights at the restaurant pass. We are incredibly proud to share that Sobre Masa has retained its Michelin Bib Gourmand for 2025, marking our fourth year in a row.
