The Wooden Legs Brewing Company name is tongue in cheek homage to Judge Wilmot Wood Brookings. Judge Brookings is a significant figure in history of South Dakota. The county and city were named after him although he only visited the city twice. In February 1858, Brookings rode a horse from Sioux Falls to the Yankton area during a blizzard. His horse slipped and fell into Split Rock Creek in the fr

eezing weather. Brookings made it safely to Yankton, but his wet legs had suffered such severe frostbite they both needed to be amputated. He spent the rest of his life using a pair of squeaky, wooden legs.

Introducing our newest Pubkeep Series brew….
This time it was Stefan’s turn to get into the brewery and brew up his dream beer, and this tart treat was the result!

Lekker Slaap, or “good sleep”, is an imperial fruited sour inspired by his family’s South African roots, using popular cultural fruits like apricot and passionfruit. This “lekker” (yummy/good) sour is bright, with lingering tartness, and boasts a vibrant fruit bouquet without coming off as boozy.

🏆🍕August Pizza Showdown🍕🏆

Grady’s Classic American Deluxe Pizza came out on top after a month long battle with the Nashville Hot Pizza. Now he’s set to face off against a retired fan favorite, the Jalapeño Popper!

For those of you who don’t remember, this pizza starts off with a cream cheese base before being topped with mozzarella, bacon, jalapeños, and finished with a drizzle of raspberry sauce! It’s available starting TODAY, and only one of these masterpieces will live on to see September.
