Hi friends,

We wanted to give everyone a quick update from the Dancing Crane.

We will be closed tomorrow, Monday, as we make a small adjustment to our hours. Beginning this week, we will be open Wednesday through Sunday from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

As many of you know, the coffee house is currently being run by just the two of us, a mother and daughter team. We are incredibly grateful for the support, kindness, and excitement you’ve shown since reopening. Your enthusiasm has meant the world to us.

To continue serving our community while also making sure we can keep up with the behind-the-scenes work that goes into running the shop, we need to take a little extra time each week to rest, recharge, roast coffee, stock shelves, and prepare for the days ahead.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and support of our small family business. We look forward to seeing you Wednesday morning.

To help our community celebrate Pride Month, the Bay Mill Two-Spirit Committee has partnered with Dancing Crane Coffee House & Roastery to host a ‘Take What you Need Wall’ filled with affirmations and reminders.

In these times of struggle and strife, it’s important to continually remind ourselves of our power. These affirmations can help us take courage when confronting injustice, remind us of our untapped potential, and/or remind us of the power of love and acceptance.

We encourage you to stop by Dancing Crane anytime - whether you’re a member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community or an ally. They’re open to take an affirmation and leave an affirmation!

A Huge Thank You From Dancing Crane Coffee House & Roastery ❤️

What a first week it has been.

We are so grateful for the support, kind words, and excitement surrounding the reopening of Dancing Crane. Seeing familiar faces come back through the doors and meeting new customers has meant so much to us.

As many of you know, right now it’s just my mom and me running the shop. Between roasting coffee, baking, stocking shelves, making drinks, managing inventory, and keeping everything running smoothly, we’ve been working long days to bring Dancing Crane back for the community.

We know some people have asked about our hours. At this time, our hours are 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM Wednesday through Monday, and we are closed on Tuesdays. These hours allow us to keep up with everything behind the scenes while continuing to provide the quality and service you deserve.

As we grow, we hope to expand our hours in the future. For now, we’re doing our best and are incredibly thankful for your patience, understanding, and support.

Thank you for making our first week back such a success. We couldn’t do it without you, and we’re excited for many more weeks to come.
