Ame Matcha

Ame Matcha Ceremonial-grade matcha 🍃Crafted in Japan 🇯🇵
Stone-milled • Ultra-fine ✨ It all started with a love for tea. But then matcha caught my attention.

Brewing at home became a daily comfort—experimenting with oolongs, herbals, and loose-leaf blends from around the world. The ritual, the energy, the vibrant green—it became more than a drink, it became a morning practice. Through this journey, I found my favorite profile: rich, smooth, and umami. I knew if I shared matcha, it had to be premium and pure. Unlike coffee’s quick jolt, matcha offers calm, sustained energy, rich in antioxidants and grounding focus. Now, I share the matcha I drink daily—sourced directly from Japan, vibrant and full of umami depth. We serve it with joy and intention. No sugar. No syrups. No shortcuts. Just pure matcha, crafted with joy. 🌱✨

Our very first pop-up event exceeded every expectation. 🍵✨

We honestly did not expect one of our menu items to sell out within the first hour — thank you to everyone who came by, supported us, shared our drinks, and showed so much love to AME Matcha. Seeing so many people connect with our vision of matcha “as it should be” means everything to us.

A very special thank you to Alice from for helping make this event possible. We truly couldn’t have done it without you. 🤍

This was such a fun and unforgettable experience, and we’re already excited for the next one.

If you missed Matcha Fest, you can still experience AME Matcha at home. Our ceremonial grade matcha powder is available online at drinkamematcha.com 🍃

Make sure to follow us here at for updates on future pop-ups, new drinks, and everything we have coming next.

Thank you again for supporting our small business and being part of the beginning of our journey. ✨

Here’s the corrected caption:

🍵✨ When in Japan, drink matcha the RIGHT way.
During our matcha making class in Japan, I learned the proper way to participate in a traditional tea ceremony — and it’s way more intentional than just picking up a cup and sipping.
When the host presents you with the matcha bowl, they intentionally point the family marking toward you as a gesture of honor and respect. So when you receive it, you never want to sip directly from that marking — that would actually be considered rude. 🙅‍♂️

Instead, you receive the bowl with both hands — left hand cradling the bottom, right hand on the side. Then you rotate the bowl clockwise twice with your right hand. 🔄🔄 This turns the family marking back toward the host, showing them that you acknowledge and respect the gesture they made for you.

Such a small movement, but it speaks volumes. That’s what I love about Japanese culture — every little detail has deep meaning and intention behind it. 🙏
