Hello Neighbors!
We are getting a lot of requests of how you can help out at the Black Rock Food Pantry - and we love it!
The cold, Winter months are coming quickly and we have more need than ever to help our clients and to keep our shelves stocked with nutritious foods, but we need your help.

Donations of cereal, soups, canned or packaged tuna fish and pasta sauces and baking items will help fill our client's grocery bags. Shampoo, soaps, toothpaste are also great products.

Many of you have reached out and asked how you can help -
perhaps organize a food drive with neighbors, family and friends. We love to see the joy when you come in with the items and help to restock our shelves.

Contact me with any questions or stop by and check out our Pantry any Saturday morning (between 9am and 10:30am).

The Black Rock Food Pantry is open to Bridgeport and area residents. Client’s shop once a month for a 3 day emergency supply of food.
The Food Pantry is located at the corner of Fairfield Avenue and King Street in Bridgeport, CT.
To register please bring proof of your Connecticut address and proof of members residing in your home and the ages of the residents.
Saturday hours are from 9am until 11am.

Such a wonderful morning at the Black Rock Food pantry distributing Thanksgiving dinners to almost 200 families. Many thanks to all who donated and to all of our volunteers.
It is amazing what is achieved when working towards a common goal.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of our families and god bless us all.

The Black Rock Food Pantry needs help stocking the shelves.
Donations of boxes of stuffing, canned fruits and vegetables, cereal and vegetable oil are needed. Donations can be dropped off on Saturday morning from 9am until 11am or contact [email protected] to arrange for pick up.
