Big news… and the best kind ♥️

After a lot of thought, Nick & I have decided to pass the torch of The Velvet Cup to someone very special—someone many of you already know.

From the early days, Caitlin has been part of this space. She was one of my first team members, helped shape what this little coffee spot has become, and truly understands the heart behind it all. There’s no one I trust more to carry this forward.

What does this mean for you?
Honestly—not much will change. The same care, the same vibe, and the same Velvet Cup quality you’ve come to expect will still be here. If anything, you’ll just be seeing more of her smiling face behind the scenes.

Velvet Cup has always been about COMMUNITY, connection, and outstanding coffee—and that’s not going anywhere.

I’m so grateful for every single one of you who has supported Nick & myself along the way. 15 YEARS! And I’m really excited for this next chapter… for both of us.

Dev, you’ve been such an incredible part of The Velvet Cup family and we will miss you. Nick and I couldn’t have achieved our next journey in life if it weren’t for you. Calling all Velvet Cup fans who love this Barista…come say goodbye to Dev as his final day is this Sunday 4/26/2026.
