HAVE YA'LL EVER TRIED A PAWPAW?? If not let me know, I can change that!! Went Pawpaw hunting yesterday, in some of the most mosquitoe infested woods, dried out creek beds ever!! But I suffered through long enough to get 180 pawpaws!!

August is by far my most fruitful mushroom month! Found a wide variety of mushrooms this weekend chanterelle's, black trumpets, cinnabars hedgehogs, cauliflower, chicken of the woods, lobsters, beef steak, shrimp of the Woods, Indigo milk caps, Oysters and more! Had a new experience I was going to a pretty well known touristy spot and private land was on my left side and public land on the right when I seen some chanterelles and blue milk caps on public land, so I jump out of the car and grabbing them off the bank and the people living on the left side of the road in there camper proceeded to go inside and let there German Shepherd out to run down the driveway and viciously bark at me I continued getting my mushrooms and carried on.

Walking through the woods today I ask Mother Nature to guide me to an Umbrella Polypore.... We have been in SC the past few weeks harvesting mainly Chantrelles. Today we switched it up and stated in our own neck of the woods in the mountains of WNC. Y'all guess what?!?!? MOTHER NATURE LISTENED & gave me my Umbrella 😍❀️😍❀️ such a rare and beautiful find!!!
