Proverbs says Reputation is worth more than Silver or Gold.. Due to this I now find it necessary to Address many false and Degrading rumors being spread in this small beautiful community. Bare with me this may take a bit.. We came (me and my family of 8)From Ruidoso NM (my home of more than 30 years)looking for refuge after our home was burned down in the Fires of 2024. Our Sub Shop Dragonfire Bistro Bakery and Boba that was loved and thriving also took a huge substantial hit with all the damage done to our Race track leading to its closing. When we first saw Brenham we instantly fell in love with Brenham and fought having no money or family money to build on prayed and through pure Faith opened This restaraunt. The building we found was in shambles and infested! Worst of any of the 6 restaraunts/ coffeeshops Ive endeavored to open. Me my wife and 10 year old son Worked tirelessly for 2 solid weeks 10 hour days to clean the mess and remove all pest that plagued the building from former tenants. I was warned then that a group of local prominent folks had it out for me due to my open disgust for the mess we inherited. I shook it off and proceeded. I was amazed at what we were able to accomplish as I really thought it might not be fixable.. We opened and were embraced by the best people Ive met in years. While I was so excited about business I began frequenting many nearby businesses and spreading my appreciation and gratitude. Again and again I was warned a storm was coming. Well eventually I discovered the storm. A slew of petty and childish lies about Father of 8 and former Minister (me) have been brought to my attention and are spreading like wildfire by a few faithless and shamed folks who see it necessary to hide their own shame by attacking my Character! I will not stand for it.. As a man of Faith I prayed for these folks but as the rumors have grown and spread I now felt it necessary I respond publicly. I am an Alien in this town and as such need the support of strangers to support my Large and beautiful home schooled family. My children dont play video games or spend anytime on the internet and have more character than many adults in this generation already.. Something Ive fought to instill through hours of devotion guardianship.They also work with me whenever possible and love to work as due I. My devotion to my customers can not be matched. My kindness in the face of trials is what Im most proud of.If you meet and get to know Us you'll see this to be true. If you've heard believed or even are friends with this group thats behind these attacks.... I ask you take a long hard look at the source as they may not be all you've believed and this alone should be enough for you to reconsider their counsel and your relationship with them! God bless you all especially those who have attacked my family business and my reputation. Im commanded to love my enemies and I will,no matter how difficult it is. All are welcome and apologies will be accepted.
