Blue River Bistro will be closed Monday, May 4 and Tuesday, May 5 for mud season maintenance, deep cleaning, and staff training.

We appreciate your understanding while our team takes care of a few important behind-the-scenes projects. We’ll reopen Wednesday, May 6 for our usual schedule, seven days per week.

Thanks for giving us a couple of days, so you can continue to count on us for everything from casual lunches to special nights out in Breckenridge.

Today we’re raising a glass to Eddie. 🎉

It’s his birthday AND he just celebrated 25 years with Blue River Bistro, an anniversary that means a lot to us. Eddie is a husband, a dad to two boys, a summer biker, winter snowboarder, woodworker, and for many of you, a favorite seat at the bar. More than anything, he’s been part of the heart of this place for a quarter century.

Today we’re celebrating Jayson’s Birthday. He’s 50 years young and has been part of the Blue River Bistro family for 20 of them.

Jayson has been a steady, familiar presence in our dining room for two decades, bringing professionalism, warmth, and genuine care to every table he serves. His longevity here speaks volumes about his character and the relationships he’s built with guests and teammates alike.

When he’s not at the bistro, you’ll find Jayson snowboarding through the winter, fly fishing once the rivers are up, finding surf breaks around the globe, or cruising around town on his e-bike with his dog Jaxon riding shotgun in the sidecar. And to top it all off, he’s recently engaged, what a milestone year in every sense!
