We almost feel bad for the brisket and pork butts. After walking outside this week, we finally understand what it’s like to sit in a smoker all day. 🥵

The difference is, they come out tender and delicious.

Today is the Community Baby Shower at the Brazil Public Library hostes by Clay County WIC!

Having two soon-to-be mamas on our own Pappy’s crew, and watching them prepare for this next chapter has been a pretty sweet reminder of just how important it is for new moms to feel supported by the people around them.

We love seeing so many local organizations come together to make sure Clay County families know they have a community behind them.

And to our two mamas-to-be… we can’t wait to meet the newest (and tiniest) members of the Pappy’s family.

School is back in full swing.
Sports have started.
And your vehicle is now basically an unpaid Uber for children.

Between homework, practices, games, and trying to remember which kid needs to be where… dinner is officially one decision too many.

So let us handle it. Kids eat FREE tonight starting at 4pm with the purchase of an adult entrée!

Because you may not know where their cleats are and two of three children have already lost their water bottles—but at least you know what’s for dinner. 😂

Pappy’s has power, and we’ll be open at 11 a.m. with hot food ready—whether you have power at home or not. Come in, cool off, bask in the glow of the lights and leave starved, and let us take care of lunch or dinner today.
