The Victoria Diner building originated as a train car in the 1920's-30's before it was made into a diner located in Wayne, NJ. Like most diners of the day, they were small consisting of only a few booths and counter seating. In 1953 the building was transported up to Branchville, NJ where it is still located now. Before being the Victoria Diner it was the Five Star Diner (any prior names are unkn

own at this time). Diners such as this one is a great piece of Diner History along the Eastern Seaboard. Diners such as this one were built anywhere between 1917-1952, this particular diner was built by the Silk City Dining car company in Paterson NJ in 1939. Originally the Wayside Diner on Route 23 in Wayne NJ it was moved to Branchville in 1954. Sadly the Diner was closed in 2007-2008 and sat abandoned for 3-4 years before Mike and Rosa purchased it in 2011. Today the diner is a favorite gathering place for the area locals and summer residents of the nearby lake communities. We use only the freshest ingredients and make every attempt to use local farm produce. You will find nothing but fresh food great prices and friendly staff!!
