A word about our friend. If you live in Brady, chances are you’ve met our local FedEx delivery driver, Jacob. There’s also a good chance that you’ve heard the news that he will no longer be working for the company. This is a huge loss for our community. Not only was Jacob excellent at his job, he is a top-tier human being.
Despite not living in Brady, he has committed himself to serving this town in spectacular fashion. He freely shared his phone number so that people could reach out about their delivery. He always showed up with enthusiasm and a twinkle in his eyes. He took the time to get to know so many of us, and developed real friendships along the way. Our staff was always happy to see his truck pull up, and we even included a drink on our menu as a nod to him. We’ve had countless conversations about his kindness and the way he inspires people to be more joyful. We are truly going to miss seeing him throughout the week, and wish him the most happiness and success on his next adventure.
