Join us for a cozy, hands-on afternoon with Deb, founder of TDog ChunkyHandKnits, and create your own soft, oversized 30" x 40" hand knit blanket.

Perfect for beginners, this guided workshop includes all materials, step-by-step instruction, your choice of yarn color, one glass of wine upon arrival, and a PIER 22 50th Anniversary commemorative sticker.

“My husband and I took my parents to Pier 22 on September 28, 2023, to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary. My mom had been diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia about 2 and half years prior to this celebration. The disease often caused her anxiety, especially outside the home and among strangers, but with the promise of water views and lobster (her favorite food) for dinner, we believed those couple of ‘distractions’ would be enough for a short yet delicious and beautiful celebration. And, fortunately, we were right. A picture is worth 1,000 words as the expression goes evidenced by this photo. This was the last time we ate together at Pier 22 with my mother and father. I'm glad we have pictures of our time there to remember how happy my mom was that evening as we celebrated their six decades of marriage.”

PIER 22 will be temporarily closed for enhancements starting Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19.

We will reopen at 11:30 AM on Saturday, June 20 and will be fully open for the weekend and Father’s Day.
