The Pretzel Place in the Gallatin Valley Mall is seeking a hardworking, honest and awesome general manager. We are a hand rolled soft pretzel shop operating inside the mall. This job requires a minimum of 45 passionate hours per week. Candidates for the position should be self motivated, great with customers, and able to lift up to 50 lbs. Previous management/shift management experience a huge plus but not required. Previous food/retail experience also a plus but not required. Biggest requirement is a service oriented and happy/outgoing attitude.
Manager will be responsible for the overall operation of the restaurant including but not limited to:
Hiring and Training Staff
Scheduling
Ordering
Inventory/Cost control
Restaurant maintenance and cleanliness
This is NOT a desk job, you will be actively running the restaurant with your crew or alone 95% of the time. This will include making dough, rolling and cooking pretzels, helping customers, cleaning, supervising, etc.
Compensation will start at $40,000 base pay (DOE) with the opportunity to earn a substantial bonus based on meeting performance goals.
1% of gross sales in bonus will be paid for meeting a labor cost goal.
1% of gross sales in bonus will be paid for meeting a food and paper cost goal.
And 1% of gross sales in bonus will be paid for meeting a sales goal.
At current volumes the bonuses would total $6,000+/year for a total pay of $46k
