South 9th Bistro’s menu features a selection of French-inspired and American plates (including gluten-free and vegetarian options), scratch-made and deftly executed by Executive Chef David Stone. Our palette of palate-pleasing appetizers includes: our fresh-cut, parmesan-dusted Idaho Truffle Fries, our Prosciutto-wrapped Sea Scallops, drizzled with a lush, lemon-caper beurre blanc, our Escargots, adrift in butter, garlic and parmesan, served with crusty baguette, and, everything in between. Entrées at South 9th include a selection of expertly prepared steaks, seafood, and more, featuring: our signature, center-cut, 9oz Steak au Poivre, seared to order, served with delectable dauphinoise potatoes, our Coquille St. Jacques, with sea scallops seared to perfection, our fork-tender, braised 22+oz Lamb Shank, served with garlic-mashed red potatoes and a scrumptious rosemary-red wine demi-glace, and, everything in between. Beyond the steaks, seafood and non-vegetarian plates, the Bistro’s menu features a selection of luscious vegetarian plates, including: our Ratatouille, served in a crispy panko eggplant pirogue with creamy polenta and sautéed haricots verts, our opulent Black Truffle Wild Mushroom Risotto, and our sublime Roasted Butternut Squash Ravioli, served with a sumptuous sage-marsala sauce and perfectly grilled asparagus. Last but never least, our house-made desserts - toothsome treats to complete a fine meal on a decidedly indulgent note. Our Story

Hundreds of excellent online reviews, local word of mouth, and foodies all agree that South 9th Bistro is the best of Bozeman for a relaxed, fine dining experience. Located just south of Main Street on 9th Avenue, the Bistro is easy to find - by day, by its distinctive orange Victorian facade, and by night, by its many windows aglow with the warmth and comfort of the space within. Seating at the Bistro is available both inside and (seasonally) outside. Inside the Bistro, seating on the main floor is open and upbeat, while seating on the second floor is a bit cozier and more intimate. The second floor also features a separate private dining area that can comfortably accommodate up to 10. The Bistro's kitchen is under the direction of Chef Ryan Trenton. Our seasonal dinner menu is broad in scope, featuring dishes such as Steak au Poivre served with dauphinoise potatoes and Pan-seared North Atlantic Salmon with lemon- caper beurre blanc and wild rice. The menu also offers vegetarian options such as Ratatouille with polenta and sauteed haricots verts, and Roasted Butternut Squash Ravioli served with a sage-marsala sauce and carrot-ginger mousseline. All of our menu items are fresh-made, in-house, including our baked goods and desserts. We also feature numerous gluten-free options. The Bistro also offers a full selection of wine and beer, as well as port. South 9th Bistro is open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday, from 5:00pm. Reservations are recommended. Dinner fare is available for take-out during dinner hours. South 9th Bistro: Great Food, Great Service, No Excuses
