I have been talking about it. I have even recently posted about it. There seems to be plenty of interested people. Some that want to be involved. The vision is simple.

Sunnyside was here long before most of us. We gave it life once again. No it is not the same. But it is Sunnyside still. Different, and maybe better?

I want to do the same for Country Star. I have memories there. I have aspirations to bring that back for those who live here now.

Crowd funding seems to be viable. And would allow us to bring down our overhead, and therefor a more affordable place to eat for lunches and dinners.

Menu would be pretty diverse, with daily specials. Buffet only, but each day is a specific type of food. Ranging from asian, to Fish fry. And everything in between. Staying local. and using as much local products as we could.

Sill just passively watching properties here in Boyne, I would not want to do this any where else.

Hey there Boyne! We are currently considering applicants for the kitchen. Looking for a capable faster paced cook. Part time almost full time.
The benefit of the hours can not be expressed enough. Out by 1pm in the off season. 2pm in the summers. Staff is easy going, energetic, and full of sass. If you or someone you know might be looking for something. Or something extra. Have them send us a message on here or Instagram. Please do not just come in and try to talk. Jim is busy in the kitchen almost always. That is why we are making this post. So he isnt likely going to be able to come out and chat outside of appointments. Send a message and we will almost always respond right away.

Requirements are being able to start work before 7am. Multitasking is a must. Juggling orders. Experience on wheel. Basic understanding of sanitation and food health. Preferably a big beautiful Jamaican named Chris. But unfortunately he will be heading back home soon. So looking for someone to fill those shoes. So if you aren't a Jamaican named Chris we will still consider you.

New menu is missing something...I am sure I will not hear the end of it. But it is the end for the stuffed hash brown. Or hash browns all together. We have potatoes but no more hash. In the meantime for limited time our special is a ham and swiss stuffed hash.
