Today I had the pleasure of meeting Annie of rootedhomeherbalism! She took a foraging walk around the property with me and shared her wealth of information about herbs, edibles, treesā€¦it was so inspiring and informative, I was really amazed to learn about the abundance surrounding our home. Annie and her partner Shannon teach herbalism workshops throughout the seasons, if you ever get the chance to attend one you wonā€™t be sorry!

Havenā€™t done a garden update in a while! My greens are doing amazing this year since I added a cover to the bed they are in. I am growing snap peas and bush beans for the first time, loving how easy they are to grow! I have some tomatoes starting to come in, loads of herbs, and today we are expanding the garden a bit so I can try squash in the ground instead of in a raised bed. I must be the only person who has been unsuccessful with zucchini so far! And my first blackberries have appeared! So grateful that I found this passion later in lifeā€¦.
