We’re a little late in celebrating this milestone, but better late than never!

Thank you for being part of our Joia family and supporting us through every season these past few years.
We are so grateful to be a place where you can share meals with your loved ones, connect with both new and old friends, or simply sit on your own and enjoy a quiet moment.
We’re grateful to be the meal you bring home to your family after a long day at work , the food you order when someone needs a pick me up, when a loved one’s baby has just been born, or when you’re welcoming a newcomer to town.

It has been our pleasure to serve you all 💛

These images were created by one of our team members, Batuka, who recently went off to pursue his dream. Before he left, he gave us a presentation about each one of us, what he’s learned and how he felt during his time here. Watching him step into his next chapter reminded me that this truly is more than just a restaurant.

We know this job can be a season in someone’s journey. What matters most to us is who we get to be for one another while we’re here and the kind of space we choose to build together.

When mom hears two chefs are at Ta Joia and thinks and are here for a job interview. 😂😂😂🤣 and says no. I dont want men. 💀💀💀

We had the absolute honor of having these two culinary legends at Ta Joia. It was such a blessing to share space, stories, and laughter. Watching mom let down her guard and just be with them was something I’ll never forget.The energy they brought was palpable — kind, joyful, and so real. Truly a special moment for all of us.

"I had the house chicken with pico and cilantro sauce. I honestly didn't think all these things would go together. My friend told me to try it so I did. I can honestly say this is the best teriyaki I have ever had in my entire life, and i've had plenty of teriyaki. After my first time I went back the next 2 days after that. That's how good it was! Ta Joia, I'll never go anywhere else. Thank you"
