I would like to thank everyone who liked, shared, & commented on our Mother's Day contest post. As I was reading the comments I was thinking about my own mom & it made me smile. My second daughter was born at 27 & now she's 27 who just had her own baby. Some of you on this page knew my mom, but for those of you who didn't I would like to share one particular unselfish act I will never forget. I was a change of life baby, so when my mom got cancer when I was in high school I was scared she wasn't going to see me graduate. She fought really hard & went into remission for nine years. My second daughter was born March 20, 1999 & my mom passed April 19th, 1999. She came to my house two weeks after I gave birth with a pile of some unusual gifts for a newborn & I just thought she was a little overexcited. She knew and was told her time was coming, but did not want to upset me when I was pregnant, so she hid it & kept pushing through on her own. She was an awesome Grandma to my oldest who still has memories of her to this day. I am happy I now have my own grandchild to love & I am grateful for all the sacrifices my own mom made. We were down to our last couple flowers yesterday, so will need to increase for next year, thank you all for your orders! Sorry for the long post, but you were all so great sharing and it inspired me to share mine as well. My mom was my best friend & I will always miss her.❤️
