Thai Curry Beef Skewers with peanut dipping sauce, Rainbow Spring Rolls, Mini Eggplant & Shiitake Tacos, Spicy Fried Chicken Sliders, and a Cheese & Charcuterie spread worth lingering over. There are events you look forward to all year.

For the third year in a row, our team welcomed three hundred and fifty students to the Bloomberg Center, and the energy in the room was exactly what we hoped for: full tables, good conversation, and a community that keeps growing.

A handwritten note from the SAIS team afterward reminded us why we love this one. Same excitement, same community, and somehow it gets better every year.

Some events carry more weight than others. The DC Firefighters Burn Foundation's Night at the Navy Yard gala is one of them, an evening that brings 350 guests together in support of burn survivors and the families beside them through recovery.

We were proud to serve as the full service catering partner this year, handling everything from passed hors d'oeuvres through a six-station dinner to a late-night snack. Each station drew inspiration from one of our Founding Farmers locations across the DMV, from fried chicken and waffles to Texas brisket to a dessert spread of our own scratch-made chocolates and sweets.

Spring gave us long-table dinners, outdoor galas, and Founding Spirits cocktails poured into the golden hour.

Some galas are about the venue. This one is about the people in it.
 
The DC Firefighters Burn Foundation’s Night at the Navy Yard gathers firefighters, burn survivors, and the medical teams and families who walk recovery alongside them. Every dollar raised goes back to hospital care, family support, and survivor programs.
 
They came to us because of our DC roots, and that became the menu. Our catering team pulled staples from our DMV restaurants and reimagined them for the room. Sliders inspired by Farmers Reston Station. Dumplings inspired by Founding Farmers & Distillers. Fried Chicken and Waffles inspired by the original DC location. Tacos, tuna bites, and more from across our restaurants.
 
It was truly a night to remember, and one we were honored to be a part of.
