The Blue Ridge Conservancy 5k is coming up Saturday, September 19 in Blowing Rock!

Enjoy the scenic views of the Blue Ridge as you challenge yourself with a climb up Wonderland Trail Road along side other Blue Ridge Conservancy supporters. Run the 3.1 miles as fast as you can knowing that sticky buns and other goodies from the bakery await!

We adore BRC for all the valuable work they do to bring new trails and outdoor opportunities to the High Country! Come enjoy one of the most fun events in the High Country and help support their continued conservation efforts.

Watauga Back 2 School Festival is coming up August 8! This week is collection week at Stick Boy and we’re trading gift cards for school supplies! ✏️

The festival is designed to lift the financial burden that back to school shopping can create and allows Watauga County children ages kindergarten through high school to get free school supplies!

You can help! Stick Boy is holding our collection THIS week: July 27 - August 1. Bring any new packaged* school items to the Bakery location and for every one packaged item, you will get a $1 Stick Boy gift card (ex: if you bring 5 packaged* items you’ll get a $5 gift card... so bring lots and lots of school supplies).

*10 folders = 1 item, 10 rulers = 1 item.

Most needed items:

20 years of ! 🫐

If there is one thing we are excited about this month it’s blueberries from Old Orchard Creek! We are so lucky to have partnered with OOC owners, Walter Clark and Johnny Burleson, for 20 years now.

From fresh blueberry pastries to our annual staff outing to pick blueberries at the farm, we are grateful for Old Orchard Creek and the joy and nourishment their farm and blueberries have brought us over the years.

For the month of July our menu is full of sweet blueberry treats. We use all the blueberries we can get from OOC this time of year.
