I never jumped on the “kinda chic” trend because I was waiting for the right opportunity… and I think I finally found it. 🤭

This Saturday is the 2nd Annual B-INSPIRED 5K. Run | Walk B-INSPIRED. — an event I created from my love for fitness, my business + my community.

It’s a race that supports 2 scholarships for Boone High grads.

A lot of you have watched me make time for running, marathons, triathlons + duathlons while also running my business, juggling life + being a mom. Somewhere along the way, you started calling me motivating + inspiring — and that stuck with me.

So I wanted to create something that encouraged other people to make time for themselves, too. Whether that means walking, running, stepping outside your comfort zone, chasing a goal you never thought you could reach, or simply crossing the finish line.

And now here we are… 200 of you showing up this Saturday. 🥹

That is honestly incredible.

Thank you for supporting this little idea of mine and helping it grow into something that is bigger than just a race. 💛

Here’s to inspiring each other — in health, in life + in chasing the things that make us feel alive.

We are officially 1️⃣0️⃣ days out from the 2nd Annual B-INSPIRED 5K. Run | Walk B-INSPIRED.

This is a LOCAL race supporting two scholarships for Boone High graduates, and I would absolutely LOVE to see more involvement from our students, athletes, coaches + faculty! 🥹

If you’re part of a sports team and you’re available this Saturday, come run, walk, cheer, volunteer or just show up and support! 🙌🏻

This race was created with our community in mind, and I’d love to see our Boone High community be a part of it. 🩷

The 2nd Annual B-INSPIRED 5K is coming to Madrid!

Join for a family-friendly morning of movement, fun, and community at the Iowa Arboretum & Gardens! The Kids Dash kicks off at 8:30 AM, followed by the 5K at 9:00 AM. After the race, enjoy cheese at the finish line, breakfast burritos from Weather or Naut Catering, and a coffee truck!

The B-INSPIRED 5K also supports the B-Inspired Scholarship, awarded to a Boone High School senior pursuing their future in entrepreneurship, fitness, sports, wellness, or other passions.
