Two coffees. One lineage spanning centuries.
Arabica was first discovered in Ethiopia, but it was in Yemen that coffee became one of the world’s first cultivated crops. For over 600 years, Yemen’s mountain terraces have preserved some of the oldest living coffee genetics on earth.
This limited box set features two coffees connected by that history:
Yemenia — a recently identified mother population of Arabica found only in Yemen’s remote highlands.
Kent — a historic variety whose genetic roots trace back to Yemen’s original cultivated coffee populations.
Both are produced by women-led farming collectives using traditional terraced agriculture passed down through generations.
