From smallholder farms in Jagong Jeget, Central Aceh, this coffee comes from producers whose families have cultivated coffee among the fertile highlands of Sumatra.

At 1,500 meters, the lots are carefully triple-picked before being processed using a honey method, rather than the wet-hulling process more commonly associated with Indonesian coffee.

Mount Athos, known as the Holy Mountain, has been a center of monastic life and prayer for more than a thousand years. Today, twenty monasteries continue the ancient tradition of Orthodox worship, fasting, and prayer.

According to Holy Tradition, the Virgin Mary visited Mount Athos with the Apostle John. Upon seeing its beauty, she blessed the mountain and it was given to her as her garden. For this reason, Mount Athos is known as the Garden of the Theotokos, and the peninsula has remained a place especially dedicated to her protection and intercession.
