This is very late in the month, but for the rest of September (maybe a little longer) we are supporting a few different LGBTQ+ focused charities.

- The Trevor Project is a national non-profit group that offers 24/7, 365 crisis support and su***de prevention to LGBTQ+ youth under 25.

- Clutch Nampa is a local volunteer-led non-profit committed to creating an affirming space in Idaho for LGBTQ+ youth and beyond. Their vision is for all members of the community to be empowered to live their lives authentically.

- Advocates for Trans Equality fights for the legal and political rights of transgender people in America. Their focus is shifting government and society toward a future where no one is less than equal.

- The ACLU Drag Defense Fund is a special initiative started in March 2023 to protect the first amendment rights of drag performers and support the broader LGBTQ+ rights work of the American Civil Liberties Union.

How to help out? Follow the links in the comments to donate directly to one of these organizations. Or buy a drink from our Pride Cocktails/Mocktails menu. Each drink is named for a member of the LGBTQ+/sober community. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the charity listed below it.

Follow our 3rd Annual Pride Scotch Doubles tournament here:
We ended up with only 5 teams this year. The Pocket added $500 and we decided to pay out to 3rd.

25 years ago, a tragedy occurred that changed the world forever. On that September morning, while most ran for cover and safety, there were those who ran toward danger instead.

Today we honor not only the lives of the civilians lost in the attacks. We also honor the 343 firefighters, 71 police officers, and 8 emts and paramedics who lost their lives that day, as well as the over 4,300 first responders and survivors who have died since from health complications due to their time spent at Ground Zero that day.

As a small token of appreciation for their bravery and service, and in the memory of those lives lost, we offer Happy Hour pricing to all first responders this weekend.
