Who’s excited for this trivia, the last one for a month! We will be shutting down trivia to show World Cup games (and also be closed one Wednesday for a birthday trip) but, with the greatest competition in football happening, we are doing a football themed trivia.

‘Bend it like Beckham’ is the theme. It’s a movie about a girl who wants to play sports, and is also obsessed with a model who’s married to a spice girl and also kicks balls.

It also features Keira Knightly in one of her few roles that takes place in a time period where women can own property.

Wednesday. Get there early to order food and get a table while you can.

This is not the greatest sandwich in the world. This isn’t even a tribute to the greatest sandwich in the world. This is our Italian Sando, and it is the most popular item on the menu.

It’s got Black Forest Ham, Genoa salami, Provolone Chez, shredded lettuce, red onions, banana pepps, mayo, oil, and red wine vin. And the bread, the most important part, is a ciabatta bun from the excellent

And it’s $11. With a pickle spear. And a bag that has exactly 4 lays potato chips.

I am making this post after seeing somebody post how they paid $23 for a sandwich. In Boise. And that’s just for a sandwich, no pickle. No chips. And that price also doesn’t include tax, so it’s more like $24.38

Now, we in now way claim to make a better sandwich than the one that person paid $24.38 for, but ours is a great value for food. We all need value in this economy.

Another thing, restaurants should include taxes in the price! It’s called hospitality! I’m sure some accountant could tell me why it’s important not to include sales tax, but I think it’s all psychological. Places want to make their stuff seem cheaper than it really is. I’m calling it out. It’s kind of bu****it, and more local places should have tax inclusive pricing. Everybody is paying it, why hide it.

Pinball Tournament! This Saturday at 3:00!

We got the new Pokémon pinball, and we’re having a tournament for it! Come in down! Play pinball and eat pizza! It’s official, so bring one dollar for the fee, plus quarters for the games. In addition to Pokémon, we also recently added avengers pinball, and World Cup pinball!

The big game is coming! The champions League Final… AKA the SuperB Owl of football! The final match to determine the best club team in Europe, and we are opening early for it!

Arsenal vs Paris St. Germain! Words can’t explain my thought about this match, so I won’t even try, but it’s gonna be great! Defending champions of Europe vs current champions of England.

Doors will open at 9:30. Sound will be on. The coffee machine will be used for the first time in a year. And we will have snacks!

We do wanna apologize for any toxic Arsenal fans who might complain too much. It’s the big game! We won’t apologize for toxic PSG fans, because we don’t expect to have any PSG fans. It’s just facts.

Trivia. Wednesday. 6:30.

The theme round is Clint Howard. He might be the less famous of the Howard Siblings, but he has 260 acting credits to his name. You recognize his face, but you’re never sure why. Well, today is the day to learn a little bit more about him, and also realize that you know a lot more about him than you think you did.

He has been in Adam Sandler movies, My Name is Earl, Arrested Development, Apollo 13, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Rock and Roll High School, Star Treks (yes), Star Wars, and so much more!

His possibly best role, which I learned about from wikipedia and haven’t watched, is from the soap opera The Bold and The Beautiful. He Plays Tom Starr, a homeless man who turns his life around, and then gets murdered. Can we all appreciate how a man who looks like Clint Howard can get into 13 episodes of a daytime soap opera. They only cast 10s. Amazing.

So anyway, round 2 and 3 are just general trivia, there might be some questions about space.

We’re not nominated for anything because we’re not cool. We even made a video about it.

Cool people do things like pay for successful marketing campaigns. They understand how to use AI. How does it work, really? So fa,r all it’s done for me is give me worse google results. I used to work with a guy named Steve. He got a job because he needed something to do. He was rich, and was a horrible co-worker, and eventually quit. AI seems a lot like Steve to me.

Anyways, we would like to be cool, we think. We’re not sure. We don’t really know what that’s like. Cool people probably have less typos than we do. They don’t have a one week promotion that becomes 2 weeks because they didn’t check the final dates on the flyer (you’re welcome teachers). We might also hate being cool, we’re not really sure what it’s like.
