This Mother’s Day feels especially meaningful for us. As we celebrate the incredible women in our lives, we wanted to share a heartfelt update on our journey over the last few months.
As many of you noticed, we briefly paused operations at our downtown location in March. It was a temporary closure born out of a need to put family first while navigating two very different seasons of motherhood:
We have been focusing our hearts and energy on caring for our beloved mother as she navigates dementia. She is the soul of our family and being by her side is our highest honor.
In the midst of those challenges, we are also overjoyed to share that our sister, Narges, is pregnant! We are so excited to welcome a new member to the Sunshine Spice family soon!
Taking time to focus on our family was essential, and we are so blessed for all the support we’ve received.
Thank you to our wonderful customers and community. Your patience, kind messages, and unwavering support while we navigated these personal milestones meant everything to us. You reminded us that Sunshine Spice is more than just a cafe—it is a family.
Today, we celebrate the mothers who built us, the sisters carrying the future, and the community that holds us all together.
