Have you ever wondered why goats are such a popular symbolism in the coffee world? We have received plenty of our share of inquiries over the years regarding our coffee house goat, Bob, that graces the wall above our coffee bar.

The tale of goats and coffee emerges from the rich folklore of 15th century Ethiopia. However, the legend of Kaldi and his dancing goats goes back much earlier in time still. Enjoy the quick video above and a journey back through the temporal mists to unearth one of coffee’s most beloved origin stories.

At Khaos we believe in the infinite power of endless discovery and education.
